The Centrality of the Love of the Father
Everything in the Christian life must begin with a deep & profound understanding of the love of God for us individually. It all comes out of the love of the Father. If you miss that, then everything else you do as a Christian will be built on the wrong foundation.

It's so easy to miss that. I remember talking with an elderly lady who was retiring from decades of work in an Asian culture. She said that one day the Lord prompted her to review all that she had done in those 30 years in light of 1 Corinthians 13; how much was actually done out of love, and in response to His leading? She was left with a pitifully short list. Why is it that when we think we know what God wants we proceed to go about it in our way?
